Kreations Policies

Business Hours
Telephones answered and phone orders taken Mon – Fri, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Eastern Time except holidays. Orders submitted through e-mail and fax will be responded to immediately (within two hours) if received during business hours, or by the next business day if received after business hours.

Deposits
A minimum of $150.00 deposit is needed to begin an order. Balance must be paid in full before completed costume is shipped. Highly-specialized orders involving large amounts of stoning will require a 50% deposit.
Kenerly Kreations, Inc. accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Personal checks accepted for deposits only. If personal check sent for balance, costume will not be shipped until check clears the bank. Deposits are nonrefundable. Refunds will be given with store credit only.

Delivery Time/ Rush Service
Allow approximately 4-6 weeks for orders to be completed and shipped. Rush orders are available in three weeks or less for an additional $27.50 per costume when possible. Rush service is not always available.

Group Orders
A group order consists of four costumes or more ordered at the same time. A 20% off rate will be given if deposit is placed by one contact person and all measurements and design sent at one time. Our designers will be glad to send you some unique designs to suit your needs. Please place a name on each person’s measurements. All group costumes will be shipped together to one location.

Measurements
Please measure your child and send us accurate measurements. If you would like the costume to fit slightly big to allow for some normal growth, please tell us and let us add to the measurements. If you are a new customer and are unsure about how to take correct and accurate measurements, please call us and we will gladly walk you through it!
A Growth Pleat is available on costumes that have skirts for an additional $20 fee. This is a tuck around the hips, placed under the skirt, that can be let out later for additional girth room. When costume has sheer skirt, the Growth Pleat may not be available. Availability determined by Lead Seamstress, Marti Surrency.
We guarantee fit on all new costumes if correct measurements are given. Just send costume back and we will make any changes needed at our cost. If it is determined that incorrect measurements were given, additional charges may apply for Kenerly Kreations, Inc. to correct the fit. We guarantee that we can please the customer with our custom fitting expertise.

Liquid Sequin
Liquid sequin is a beautiful but delicate fabric used on many custom costumes. It is highly desirable because of the depth and captivating sheen it gives on the competition floor or stage. Many domestic suppliers are discontinuing fabrication of liquid sequin. Kenerly Kreations, Inc. has obtained sources overseas and has every color available. If your custom costume has liquid sequin, please check it often and use E6000 glue (on a toothpick) and place dabs of glue under any loose sequins or threads. We will send you some scraps of every color liquid sequin on your costume to replace any sequins that work their way loose during competition. Please be informed that Kenerly Kreations, Inc. is not responsible for the lack of durability of Liquid Sequin fabric.

Custom Stoning
Our stoning department, headed by Kyong Wheeler, is excited about creating a unique and gorgeous costume just for you! From a small amount of stoning to our upper end, sometimes placing 30 or more gross of stones per suit, let Kyong and the ladies make your Kenerly Kreation custom costume really make a lasting impression! Kyong enjoys using colored, shaped, and all sizes of stones to make a truly one-of-a-kind look just for you. Call for prices and samples!!!!

We are excited about our growing staff at Kenerly Kreations, Inc. Our sewing department, coordinated by lead seamstress Marti Surrency, now has five seamstresses custom sewing on the highest quality commercial sewing equipment to fabricate beautiful twirling costumes, competition dance costumes, and gorgeous new looks for pageant costumes. Our stoning department, coordinated by Kyong Wheeler, is excited about offering a full-range of services for customers who desire the 'total look' in their baton, dance, or competition costumes. Joy Kenerly

Owner/Designer Joy Kenerly has designed custom costumes for more than two decades for college feature and line twirlers, competition twirlers, and state and national-level pageant contestants. A former NBTA twirler and University of Georgia majorette, she has been involved with twirling and costuming most of her life. She now travels the nation with her daughters, Adeline Kenerly (2004 Intermediate Miss Majorette of America) and Jameson Kenerly (1st runner up to Advanced Miss Majorette of America) and has attended AYOP for 13 years. Let Joy use her first-hand knowledge of the sport to make your vision a reality!

Marti Surrency

Lead Seamstress, Marti Surrency, brings two decades of expertise in custom fitting and fabrication to Kenerly Kreations, Inc. Her background includes designing and creating custom costuming, women?s couture, designer wedding gowns, men?s formal wear, and heirloom children?s clothing. She has trained under the Palmer/Pletsch International School of Sewing in Indiana and Maryland and now has trained our team of seamstresses on the latest high-end commercial sewing equipment.
