Ashley Grant wins Miss East Georgia 2008 Ashley Grant of Monroe, GA was crowned Miss East Georgia recently.  Along with winning the title, she was voted Miss Congeniality and won Best Evening Gown.  For her talent, Grant performed a dance twirl to Shania Twain’s “Man. I Feel Like a Woman.”  Her talent costume was an original Kenerly Kreation, [Kenerly Kreations Inc.] personally designed by Joy Kenerly.  Since competing, Grant has won more than $3000 in scholarship money.  She will now go on to compete in the Miss Georgia pageant next June.  She is the daughter of Buss and Teri Grant (formerly Teri Harper of Jesup, GA).  She is also the granddaughter of Frances and Doug Woods and Elwood and Linda Harper and the niece of Michele and Edward Beverly.
